About Me
My name is Gabriella Algiere. I was born and raised in South Glastonbury, Connecticut. I have an enthusiasm for all sports. I am a freshman at High Point University in North Carolina. I ran my cross-country team on Instagram for two years in high school. I have done sports my entire life, such as lacrosse, cross country, and track & field. I have watched sports every time they are on, so working up close with something that has been a massive part of my life is super important. As a freshman at High Point, within my first few months, I was able to do opportunities such as Sports Link and going to a Charolette Football Club match, through the Sports Fellows program.
What sets me apart from other Sports Media Majors is that I am good at working with a group of people to get something done on time. I have worked with groups on Mission Trips where we repainted a kitchen and rebuilt a deck. I have also worked with groups of people through soup kitchens and toy drives filling bags with the products.
